The Space:
Bright and beautiful, this airy apartment sits in a building that once hosted the likes of Al Capone and Amelia Earhart. That old-school luxury pervades the property, a majestic old hotel facing historic Promontory Point and Lake Michigan. This apartment packs a lot of fun into a cozy spot and makes a great home-base to explore prestigious University of Chicago, historic Museum of Science and Industry, and the many Hyde Park eclectic shops, restaurants, and small businesses.
Our studio & 1 BR stays come standard with 3 towels and washcloths, and our 2 BR stays come with 4 towels and 4 washcloths.
Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. We do not provide any tv cable or streaming services. However, we do offer Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to log into the apps with your own log in and enjoy!
While there is no parking included with this stay, there is limited metered parking in the area, as well as several different paid parking lots close by. We suggest using the ParkMobile app to search for any available parking options.
Guest Access:
You can access the building anytime after 4pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion.

The Suite is located in the heart of East Hyde Park, which is a lively neighborhood with a variety of establishments. The area is anchored by the prestigious University of Chicago, which is a hub of academic and cultural activities. The beautiful Burnham Playground is located right in front of the property, adding to the charm of the location. There are several restaurants such as Cajun Boil and Shake, Snail Tahi Cuisine, and Cove Lounge, all located on the next block. You can also visit the Millennium Park for ice-skating, check out the Skydeck, or Hyde Park Art Center, cafes, and museums such as the Museum of Science and Industry. If you need to buy some essentials, you can head to Trader Joe's which is only a mile away.
Getting Around:
Transportation is convenient, with several CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) bus routes serving the area, providing easy access to other parts of Chicago. The Metra commuter rail also serves Hyde Park. In front of the property is the Shoreland Dorm Bus Station.
