The bathroom has all the amenities you’ll need to freshen up such as a shower, a toilet, and a sink. Fresh towels and free toiletries will also be supplied for your convenience.

Until the last century, this was a rustically rural area filled with olive groves, orchards, and gardens. Now it is far from being considered as the outskirts of Lisbon, located as it is near some of the most trendy neighborhoods, such as Penha de França, Roma, and Areeiro. São João is a relatively new neighborhood where interesting architecture is found alongside traces of prehistoric Roman and Visigoth occupation. Much of the area is occupied by the cemetery on the heights of São João. This is one of the more important and historical cemeteries in Lisbon as it’s the resting place for such illustrious figures as the Nobel laureate José Saramago. In the center of the neighborhood is Praça Paiva Couceiro, a junction for major streets as well as for people and from where the movement and pace of the neighborhood emanates.
The famous 1940 monument, Fonte Luminosa, is also within walking distance. You’ll be able to see the beautiful fountain plus evening light shows.

The nearest train station, Alameda, is 7-mins away on foot.
