Private large studio with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with deep soaker tub, one designated off street parking spot and a washer & dryer in the building. Only four blocks to historical downtown Pottstown and within walking distance to various grocery & convenience stores, unique restaurants, cool bars and more. Perfectly suited for anyone looking for furnished housing or a weekend getaway. **PLEASE read this listing carefully in it's entirety before booking. Building is being renovated.**
The historical building, built in 1910, has three units with a large studio located in the back of the building.
The large studio, located on the first floor of a 3 unit building, has beautiful archways, large windows and some original trim work. It has a fully equipped kitchen with full sized fridge, stove/oven & microwave, 4 cup coffee maker (we do not supply coffee), pots & pans, utensils, mugs/cups/plates/bowls, there's even a food processor!
The large living room doubles as a bedroom with a queen bed, night stand, dresser, comfy couch with some even more comfy throw blankets, coffee table, work desk and TV. There are also two closets with hangers for hanging clothes.
*Please note, this is a ground floor unit but there are three steps to the entrance of the unit.*
We provide fast Xfinity WIFI and an Xfinity 'F
lex' box - where you can sign into your favorite streaming subscriptions!
The only thing missing from this unit is a dishwasher!! But not to worry, there are plenty of storage containers for those leftovers you ordered to avoid doing dishes! :-)
Laundry Room:
This large studio unit is located in a 3 unit building with the laundry area being a shared space with other guests in the building. You DO have to leave your unit but you DON'T have to leave the building to do laundry and DON'T have to lug your laundry around in the outdoor elements!! There is ONE washer and ONE dryer in the semi-creepy and totally unfinished basement and is free for the building to use - please be respectful of the other guests items.
Parking:
A designated parking space is provided with the unit and there is ample free street and alley parking.
*****The building and property are getting a makeover over the next few months, please excuse her exterior appearance (and the creepy laundry room) while we beautify her. We will also be performing work on the property, which can sometimes be noisy, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. So right now, this is not ideal for someone who works nights and needs to sleep during the day or for someone who needs quiet while working from home. Work is scheduled to begin 4/26/2022 through 6/26/2022.*****
