The Walled Garden Lodge is a well-loved family home which has been designed to be both practical and comfortable. It is a bright and light-filled property which is cosy in winter and airy in the summer.
The house overlooks the 10th Fairway of the Championship Jack Nicklaus designed golf course and it is located beside the Walled Garden of the 5 star Georgian Estate just a few minutes walk to the Clubhouse and Manor House Hotel.Onsite is the spectacular River Nore with its salmon and trout fishing as well as beautiful parkland walks, horse riding, archery and more.
In order to maximise the light, the views and the setting of this home, the living areas are located on the first floor and the bedrooms on the ground floor. An impressive staircase brings you from the entrance hall directly up into the living area which is very spacious and is open plan.There are comfortable couches beside the welcoming electric fire and there is a TV. Wifi is available free of charge to all guests.
The dining room can comfortably seat up to 8 people.It is a lovely room and would be ideal for a long lingering meal with family or friends to catch up on your day’s adventures!There is a small balcony off this dining room and it is lovely for enjoying a late morning brunch while enjoying the sunshine and overlooking the garden below.
The kitchen is alongside the dining room and it shares this space with a second sitting room.The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything to hand that you will require during your stay.This sitting room area has a TV and couches and is bright and comfortable. The third bedroom is ensuite with a shower and has two single beds and the fourth bedroom is another super-king.It is also ensuite with shower.
There is a well-equipped utility room on the ground floor with a washing machine and a tumble dryer along with an enormous amount of storage space ideal for housing golf clubs, riding gear and all sorts.
