This cosy cottage can be found at the end of a long drive and within the grounds of the owners' small holding and private bird sanctuary. Perfectly perched on the hillside, you will have uninterrupted views of this stunning landscape from the cottage and its private garden, allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this hidden gem.
Lovingly restored this idyllic bolthole is a perfect mix of old and new, with original oak beams blending seamlessly with stylish modern furnishings and traditional finishing touches. Well-equipped with all of the 21st century comforts you could wish for and natural light flooding into every room make Owl Cottage a truly perfect retreat.
The spacious hallway is central to the cottage with coat hooks and a wooden boot bench to store walking shoes after a day exploring. To your right is the beautiful modern country-style kitchen, well-equipped for even the keenest chef with everything you need to create beautiful meals during your stay.
To the left of the hallway is the spacious sitting room with sumptuous sofas and a cast iron wood burning stove, perfect for gathering around on those cooler evenings. The family dining table is to the side of the room and french doors lead out onto the patio, where you will find a table with comfortable seating. Perfect for alfresco dining, with beautiful views down the valley.
A staircase leads you from the lounge up to the first floor where you will find two tastefully furnished bedrooms and the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. All of these rooms boast exposed beams and sloped ceilings. Bedroom one has a king-size bed and a door leading to the original outdoor stone staircase on the side of the property. The second bedroom has two full size single beds (which can be configured as a super-king size bed on request) and exposed beams.
The garden is to the rear of the cottage and offers guests total privacy with stunning views across the Welsh countryside. A wooden bench offers the ideal place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee and the outdoor table and chairs are perfect for alfresco dining after a day exploring.
