Situated just 6 Km's from the beautiful town of Saint Yrieix La Perche, La Grange is a stunning barn conversion with a huge living area (128 sq mtrs) comprising of an open plan stylishly decorated kitchen/dining area, with lounge that opens with french doors onto a large terrace with patio furniture, large table & seating for 10 persons, complete with private barbecue overlooking the pool and wonderful views of the french countryside. The outside terrace provides the perfect area to enjoy an Al Fresco breakfast, or relax in the evening with your family and friends over a glass of wine. La Grange is stylishly decorated throughout, with large living area with ample very comfortable seating, tasteful decor, large 4K flat screen TV, and free WiFi throughout.
Accommodation is comprises of tastefully decorated 2 master bedrooms (one with a Super King bed) and 2 twin rooms, however an option exists one twin room to be able to easily converted into an adult room with the twin divans becoming a double bed, with quality adult mattress. Quality bed linen and mattress's are provided throughout.
La Grange comes with new modern kitchen appliances, including dishwasher and easy to use pod coffee machine.
Kitchen and dining:
The kitchen is very well equipped with full size cooker, dishwasher, pod coffee machine, microwave & fridge freezer; there is plenty of cupboard space,& work surfaces for preparing those family get together meals. A full range of china, glass, cutlery, Kitchen knives, & full cooking utensils are provided, with separate utensils for use with the outside BBQ.
Indoors the stylish dinning room table comfortably seats 8 and is fully equipped and makes a great centre piece for those special family meals.
Living rooms:
The dining area is well decorated throughout, with open plan design, leading to a large lounge with ample seating for all the family and guests. Provided is English TV, Free sat and DVD player.
The lounge leads out onto the outside terrace, which hosts a large extendable table suitable for 10 persons, seating, and private BBQ, with wonderful views over looking the large garden and pool area and out over the french countryside.
Bedrooms:
Upstairs there are 4 large double bedrooms, 2 have double beds ( one Super King & one Double), and 2 have twin beds, (one able to be converted to adult double). The largest double room has an en suite shower and a very attractive vanity unit with free standing plumbed wash hand basin. Bedrooms are decorated in a modern contemporary style, fitted with quality bed furnishings and linen throughout.
Bed linen is provided & changed weekly FOC for longer term lets.
Bathrooms:
There is a tastefully decorated large family bathroom, tiled flooring, with a bath and shower over, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, and toilet plus a separate WC room.
Heating:
La Grange is fitted with electric storage heaters for winter lets. Charges for electricity are included within the price for winter lets.
Entertainment:
La Grange has its own private BBQ facilities. On site is is children's play area, comprising of trampoline, swing set, an wooden Wendy house. The pool is a 10 x 5 Sq mtr indoor pool, with a depth of 1.25 mtr's, ideal for the safety of those younger family members, complete with Roman steps leading into the pool. Located next to the pool is a well decorated and stylish refreshment/bar area, that works on an honesty system. In the evenings the pool and pool terrace area are illuminated, providing a beautiful setting for the evening drink and relaxation.
Garden and outside:
La Grange looks out onto the large garden/lawn area, and swimming pool, with beautiful views looking out over the french countryside.
The pool and terrace are dressed with loungers, drinks tables, parasols, and are lit in the evening which adds to the charm of the La Retreat.
Parking and garages:
Designated parking is provided outside each gite, more available parking is available at notice.

The attractive town of St Yrieix La Perche is only 6 kms away, & has a number of fine restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There are very good supermarkets & also small specialist shops to browse around. A general market takes place every two weeks on a Friday morning, with an abundance of excellent food stalls, fresh vegetables & clothes & crafts. Saint Yrieix La Perche offers a good cultural centre with galleries & special events during the summer months. In addition is perfectly situated to explore the numerous nearby Chateaux's, river walks, history, Richard the Lionheart route, & embrace the french culture to its fullest.
