Completely furnished custom 2/BR, 2/BA home right on the Pacific Ocean in Playa Cambutal, Los Santos Province, Republic of Panama. Spacious home with cool, easy to clean ceramic tile floors throughout. Two large bedrooms each with air conditioners and ceiling fans and attached bathrooms. Master bedroom has teak queen bed and dressers and satelite TV. Guest bedroom has one teak queen bed and one full bed along with teak dressers. Large living room with ceiling fan, sectional couch and several native cushion chairs, large custom desk. Extra large picture window with a spectacular view of the ever changing Pacific Ocean. Attached open kitchen with gas cooking island, 4 place native hardwood (corotu) dinning/drinking bar, wet bar, native teak cabinets, large refridge/freezer, dedicated freezer, oven, microwave, hot/cold purified water cooler, pots, pans, glasses, utensils, even a teak wine cabinet. GE washer/gas dryer for tenants free use only. Ocean views from kitchen windows. Most people spend much of their time on the large front porch area experiencing the awesome sights and sounds of the sea, up close and personal, while enjoying a cold beverage and the usual cool trade breezes. A custom gas grill and sitting area at beach side to enjoy cooking your catch of the day. Property also has a gardening area great for herbs, veggies and flowers, in season bananas, citrus also onsight. Not to worry though as the vegetable/fruit lady comes by every Thursday as well as periodically the fish and shrimp man.
Playa Cambutal is a small fishing community so for a few dollars you can usually buy a nice pargo (red snapper) or mahi mahi (dorado) or rooster fish, etc. The local fishermen will probably bring it right to your house. For a very reasonable price they will also take you out deep sea fishing for tuna, the area is called The Tuna Coast for good reason, grouper, etc. The Cambutal area is also known for world class reef surf breaks such as "Quatro Unce" (4-11), "Indicator" and others. Excellent beach breaks are everywhere including at times right out your front door. Our front yard beach is the best swim beach in Playa Cambutal. At low tide it's almost like a lake protected by the reefs nearby. At high tide during a good swell surfing out front can get sweet as the waves pass over the reefs to break near shore. We experience daily tides of 12'-17' depending on the moon cycles.
If outdoor recreation is your thing you will be very happy in Cambutal. World class fishing and surfing, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, kayak fishing, horseback riding, birding, whale watching (in season), eco trekking, turtle adventures where you can actually help naturalists relocate eggs to safe preserves, or just step out your front door and walk for miles in either direction along the breathtaking Cambutal shoreline, often not encountering another human being.
This property is centrally located deep in the Interior of Panama at the edge of the Azuero Peninsula. Frequent public transportation is available from your doorstep to reach all areas of Panama and beyond. Also onsight parking space for your private vehicle. Bicycles for complimentary use by tenants to cruise around the area. Several restaurants very close to house. Fondas also nearby or visit "Chino" Mini Super Markets in Tonosi approx. 20 minutes by bus or private vehicle. Beyond that in Las Tablas and Chitre are malls, supermarkets, car dealerships, movies, etc, etc. Should you have interest a live-in nanny/maid available for a reasonable extra fee or weekly cleaning service also available for extra charge.
