Your stay in Terranora is in a completely self contained 2 bedroom/1 bathroom Apartment, with full kitchen. It is under the main roof of the owners residence, however it does have its own entrance. If you are needing more space & bedrooms, there is an additional granny flat on the property which sleeps up to 4 people. Contact us if you are looking for accommodation for more people
This large resort style home is on a gated property, with 4 acres of lawn and beautiful gardens, and the location is very private. 360 degree VIEWS of ocean, river and mountains, make it a spectacular spot. This luxurious apartment is built under the main roof structure of the home, but is totally seperate and private.
The kitchen, dining and living areas are combined, and the bathroom is located between the two bedrooms, allowing for more privacy. There is Netflix plus unlimited free Wifi.
The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery and all other items you will need. There is a fridge, induction cooktop, small oven, air fryer, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, coffee machine, kettle, electric frypan, sandwich toaster and blender.
Basic everyday items are also provided to make life easier for you. These include Washing up detergent, Salt & Pepper, Cooking Oil, Paper Towel, Tea, Coffee, Sugar and fresh milk on arrival, and some extra surprises. The bathroom includes plenty if Towels, full size Shampoo & Conditioner, Soap, Hand Wash and a Hair dryer.
TV with Netflix plus DVD player, and a stock of DVDs for your convenience. Children DVDs and some toys for the little ones also included. There is a Sony CD/Radio with USB if you want to bring your own music. Board Games and playing cards are also provided. Massive driveway area for kids scooters & skate boards.
Both Bedrooms have Queen Size Beds, with high quality linen, and there are bath towels, hand towels and face washers provided. We also provided beach towels, plus a beach shade shelter if you need one.
You will love the sunken fire pit area, with 8 chairs, where you can sit back with a coffee and watch the sunrise... or a wine and watch the sun set :-)
The pool is 15 metres long and solar heated. There is also a toddlers pool and plenty of pool toys for the kids. The large pool area also includes WEBER BBQ plus table & chairs for dining by the pool. Guests love to have breakfast in the pool area, while they take in the expansive view. Pool area has lights for those who enjoy a night swim or like to have dinner around the pool. If a swim at sunrise is your 'thing' then you can take in a beautiful sunrise while you swim.
There is a large lawn area for your use, with bench seats under a huge date palm to sit with a coffee or drink, and enjoy the cool breezes and the amazing view. Car parking is provided adjacent to the apartment. Use of the swimming pool is included, and inside the pool area is a table which seats 6 and a gas Barbecue. Pool towels are provided for your convenience, along with a selection of pool floats & toys. The pool is a shared space, and although you will most likely have it all to yourself, it is also used by the owners and family, and any guests staying in the additional granny flat.
Although privacy of both parties is highly important, the property owners will be available if you have questions or need assistance.

Terranora is 10 minutes drive from Coolangatta and the airport. In every direction there are things to do. Being only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful Summergrove Wedding Estate and 20 minutes to The Abbey, we have many people stay here for weddings. Transport to and from the wedding can be arranged on request for an extra fee.
To the south, Byron Bay is 35 minutes drive, with numerous beach side towns to visit along the way, and beautiful surrounding country side.
To the south west, you have UKI, Tyalgum, Mt. Warning, Murwillumbah, Stokers Siding, Natural Arches and more. There is a lovely drive via Murwillumbah, and Tomewin over the mountain to Currumbin in QLD.
To the east you also have Kingscliff, Casuarina, Hasting Point, Pottsville and more.
North, beyond Tweed Heads and Coolangatta, and only about 15 minutes drive is Currumbin Wildlife Centre. So if you want to see Kangaroos & Koalas and lots of other animals and birds, this is the place to go.
We are approximately 50-60 minutes to all the Theme Parks (Dream World, Wet & Wild, Movie World, Sea World, White Water World). Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, and Jupiters Casino are about 30-40 minutes drive. If you prefer the hinterland, there is a vast array of places to visit, with Tambourine Mountain being a favourite for many.
Do not plan to use public transport as there is very little available close to your accommodation. Once back in the towns, there is plenty to choose from. A rental car is the best choice, but local UBER driver is available if needed. Speak to us in advance before you book via the app. so we can prebook our local driver.
We will provide an information booklet with lots of ideas for you, about what to see or do. The area is very peaceful and quite, and we hope you will respect that. We also have a lot of wild life which visits the property, such as a family of 5 wallabies (small kangaroos), kookaburras, magpies and wedge tail eagles, who regularly soar around above. It is extremely rare for us to not have a pleasant cool breeze, even when it is hot in other areas.
There is only one small dog living on the property, so please be careful as you drive in, and watch out in case little 'Bobby' runs out on the driveway.
