Villa Poda is a beautifully designed, modern penthouse suite located in the hills above Chaweng Noi. It has two bedrooms and bathrooms, an open-plan living room-dining room-kitchen and some of the very best views on the island.
The space
Just 20 minutes or so from Koh Samui airport Villa Poda has dedicated parking right outside the front door. And as you take your first steps into the villa the stylish and spacious ground floor living area is momentarily eclipsed by the panoramic view through the floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. And as you step onto your balcony the vista expands before you giving an incredible 180° picture perfect view. You’ll likely spend quite a lot of time on the balcony and there’re comfy chairs and a Jacuzzi to help you relax into your holiday.
In the living area, there’s a cozy sofa facing a large, wall-mounted TV with free Netflix streaming and an integrated sound system. And opposite the stairs to the upper level is a large bathroom/shower room and toilet. There’s also a dining table for four and a very modern kitchen with a cooking hob, an oven, a coffee machine, dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer and all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you could ever need. And a continental or Chinese breakfast is served every day by the in-house team in your villa. We can also arrange for a private chef ( extra charge) to come to your villa and prepare a locally sourced feast for you to enjoy in the comfort of your villa. And our chefs are only too happy to share their culinary secrets with keen epicureans.
The villa has additionally been decorated to a very high standard and around the villa you’ll see pictures of Samui and Thai objets d’art. The more you look, the more you’ll find and they add a wonderful Thai cultural element to a contemporary penthouse. The open-plan living area is also fully air-conditioned and has ceiling fans for added comfort.
On the upper level we have two bedrooms, the first is the en-suite master bedroom which also faces the ocean and has those breath-taking views. The orientation of the double-bed ensures that the turquoise waters below are the first thing you see through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors when you awaken in the morning. There’s also a work desk for a laptop, a sofa, plenty of storage space, a safe for your valuables and a private balcony and it’s air-conditioned throughout. The open-plan en-suite has a double sink, a powerful rain shower, toilet and further storage space. The second air-conditioned bedroom is a generously appointed twin-bed room with the bathroom at the foot of the stairs.
Comoon Villas has a fitness room and an all-day reception and concierge service. Your villa manager can arrange car-hire, trips and tours around the island and to neighbouring islands, recommend places of interest to visit and can book a spa therapist to come to your villa and give you a relaxing massage on your balcony. There’s also a villa manager on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and your villa has a maid service every day.
