Located only a few miles away from the beautiful north and east Norfolk coast and the famous celebrity haunt, the Gunton Arms, this large detached barn sits in one of the most picturesque and peaceful areas of Norfolk within its own extensive grounds.
Set in a peaceful rural location not far from the beautiful North and East Norfolk coastline, this exquisite rural retreat is beautifully located within a small courtyard of converted barns and sits within two acres of land. The barn oozes style and comfort and boasts an upstairs sitting room with large wood burning stove and three large sofas and additional seating and balcony with rural views; a huge, stylish hand-built bespoke kitchen with Aga and adjoining separate dining room make it the perfect place for a get together with your family or a group of friends. And with a fabulous indoor heated swimming pool accessed via a corridor from the kitchen/utility area, Primrose Farm Barn is the perfect place to return and relax in after a busy day exploring the nearby beaches and seaside towns.
From the elegant light-filled hallway, you will know this barn is special. Choose from four sumptuous bedrooms where you can be assured of a good night’s sleep. All beds have luxury linens and beautiful cushions and throws. The master suite, located on the first floor, has a beamed vaulted ceiling and flint wall, and features a king-size bed with two single beds either side, making it ideal for a family to sleep; and enjoys a beautiful bathroom with a free-standing bath, separate shower and twin wash basins along with a separate walk-in wardrobe. On the ground floor are three further bedrooms; a twin room and king-size bedroom which share a luxury family bathroom with free-standing bath; whilst the double bedroom accessed via the dining hallway is served by an en-suite shower room.
The bespoke hand-built kitchen will undoubtedly thrill any budding ‘MasterChef’’ and there is a sit-up bar area for pre-dinner chats or to relax on. From the kitchen and through to the utility area is the door to the swimming pool which has a pool room with large walk through shower and WC. The doors from the pool room also lead onto a pretty flint stone walled enclosed courtyard garden with outdoor furniture and lighting. Fire up the barbecue and enjoy alfresco dining when the days are longer. Additionally there is a large lawned area to the front of the barn and a separate large grassy area for children and dogs to run-around and play ball games, just across the courtyard.
The barn is full of everything you could possibly wish for when staying away. There is a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas Aga, separate electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, large television and underfloor heating. In the swimming pool area are two loungers and a pool table for everyone to enjoy.
Primrose Barn does share use of the heated indoor swimming pool, pool room and courtyard garden with three other barns within the complex, but you will be allocated times so that you can enjoy exclusive private access to these facilities. Pre-booked times will be confirmed by the housekeeper directly with you before you arrive. Please ensure when using the pool and wider pool area that children are supervised by an adult at all times.
There is also a large chill-out/relaxing area above the kitchen accessed via a spiral staircase which is perfect children wanting to have their own space.
Plenty of private parking is available for at least six cars on a gravel driveway to the side of the property. As well as the private enclosed lawned garden to the front and side of the property, there are further shared and larger grounds for adults, children and dogs to explore and enjoy.
Please note: Primrose Farm Barn can be booked in conjunction with any of the following cottages within the barn complex - Rainbow Cottage, Hawthorne Cottage and Blackberry Cottage. Allowing up to 22 people to stay.
