Private house of the original sixties elegant hippy style house with private entrance with two steps, blinds and French doors. Very charming AC apartment in a compound where is no traffic, with a private entrance and a private terrace plus hammock and Bamboo Chill Out in an original very scenic, romantic finca or rural house in Ibicenco style in the Mid-East of Ibiza, close to several small (nude) beaches and idyllic small bays and to the beach of Cala Martina. The house is close to the sea in a very quiet area next door to the famous hippie market of Es Canar and next door Camping La Playa. Local regulations ask us to rent via VRBO from 40 days and up only. Escape; It's allowed (fb) friends stay with us for short time. So friends could send me, KC Godrie, Ibiza, a direct message, via social media, via my family name plus eu or also via airbnob dot com. Don't forget the o because we rent out our accommodation only without breakfast. The house has a super nice living room with round kitchen. Double bed in sleeping room, in between living room and bathroom. A stone sofa, Gaudi like with comfy cushions, which is also to use as an extra bed in the living room, by doubling the mattress with an extra mattress. And also an extra floor mattress is available for additional charge. Full equipped kitchen with 2 induction cookers, fridge, small oven etc.. Micro wave and other (kitchen) tools available in the store room.
An absolute surplus in the private garden, is the beautiful outdoor bamboo chill-out with a roof, which is even suitable for sleeping outdoors (with mosquito net). But also garden chairs and a table, a hammock and a drying rack.The apartment is about 35m2 and the terrace/garden is about 30 m2.
Besides the private garden is a large community garden where you can recreate by yourself or hang out and meet other tenants, with facilities as, out of recycled materials, extra toilet, what avoids visitors need to go through your bedroom or kitchen, an open air shower to clean your legs and feet when you come from the beach, a double sink to wash your hands or plates after barbecue under the chimney on the backside of the house. Also in the garden a washing machine, creative swing set, a store room for extra needs to use for all tenants like yoga mats, beach mats, hair dryer, extra drying rack, cleaning stuff, fans, heaters, different sorts of coffee makers, blender, juicer, extra cutlery, plates, glasses, cleaning stuff, fans, heaters, mixer etcetera.
Ask for an additional place to sleep for your friends, if you need: An extra mattress for on the floor or folding bed is available for a third or fourth adult or child for additional charge.
There is also a roof top with stunning see view, since this is the highest house of the 7 houses, just outside the woods, next to the hippy market and the roof got chairs, water, electricity, safe, fridge on the 1st floor and a magnificent Bali bed. The roof top is to visit on request.
Be aware not everything is brand new, The interior, couch, tables, chairs, kitchen, side boards are but f.i. bathroom, walls, doors, floor etc. are not. Sorry to mention this silly note but some people are disappointed because there are some spots on a tap or something ... pots and pans and cutlery are cleaned by guests, while our cleaning service takes care of the interior like the bathroom, kitchen, living and the sleeping room and floors etc. (so occasionally it can happen that one will find a spoon or plate that shows traces of usage). Also some items that everybody can use are stored outside, like in the shared garden can show some dust or water stains, but in the garden there are watertaps available to clean yourself if necessary.
We supply AC, ( Air Conditioning ) even we don't like AC ( Air Conditioning ) because it's not very healthy and we prefer an environmental friendly behaviour. We also rebuilt the house in a way where we recycled most, but ... also supply AC , even you seldom need it. We supply it because many people feel insecure about the heat during the night and we want to supply this escape to give you a comfortable feeling, but we are sure you will experience you don't need it because the house is airy, got blinds which gives privacy and is cool, when the windows are open. Please don't use unnecessary water and electricity please.
Note that the water from the tap is not drinkable; (big) bottles are for sale in the supermarket nearby and also in a water machine 3 minutes walking from the apartment ( €2)
The house is on a compound, with security behind a barrier. Car parking is free of charge in front of the entrance with the barrier, outside of the compound where our house is, on the parking spot or in the street. So no parking near the house, but on a few minutes walk. We are no part of the bungalow park and the reception, but have our house on the compound behind this barrier. The compound is, with some exceptions, car free which provides a quiet and more safe environment.
The buss stop are in the street in front. Hiking tours along the cliffs, starting from 50 meter from the house.
