Résumé: The unit itself was pretty nice, but not quite the same furniture as shown in the pictures. But!, there were so many things missing that I had to buy, and I had to secure my own ELECTRICITY!, wifi and internet, which means no internet at least the first day and the last day, because you have to take the equipment back! Luckily I had previous account with APS so they didn't charge me the $250 deposit. The owner didn't let me know until shortly before arrival (too late to find another rental) about the electricity. For the rates charged, I thought that was really awful. Some of the things I had to buy, ice cube trays (because the ice maker didn't work) a paring knife, a corkscrew!, 3-way bulbs, toaster tongs, a bathroom scale, a basket steamer, large tongs for cooking, a nightlight. Also when a bulb burnt out in the hall to the bathroom, the owner told me the tenant was responsible for replacement! No, not in a short-term rental! And I couldn't do without that light, because it was across from the washer/dryer and the light over them didn't work either. Here is a partial list of other things the owner should provide, a new hairdryer (when the one there died, he told me I had to buy a replacement and take it home, that it wasn't included. Although in the listing it WAS included); a soap dish in the bathroom, new or sharpened knives, a butter dish, a sugar bowl, firmer pillows,a blender.. Plus he needs to remove old/excess/sheets and pillows and towels. There were no cushions for the seating area on the deck, so that furniture was unusable. It would be nice if he bought new sheets, as well as the pillows, painted the woodwork and fixed the flourescent lights in the laundry area. He could also add undercounter lights, and drawer pulls and knobs in the kitchen. All In all, he was a rather difficult landlord. I was newly widowed at the time and would have appreciated a little more consideration. All of this said, the staff at the complex was wonderful, the pool was great, and I saw a roadrunner on the ground below the deck.
