The Happy House is in the township of Happy Valley on K'gari (Fraser Island).
The house is very close to the beach, only a 70m walk along a boardwalk to the eastern surf beach.
The 😀 House is clean, comfortable, beach chic styled, with modern kitchen appliances, and is fully fenced and child friendly.
The 😀 House is a 3 bedroom + sleepout; with a huge verandah and has 2 bathrooms.

Also, in the front yard is a firepit, and plenty of chairs to sit around it 🔥 and enjoy a few cold drinks and even watch the footy on the 65inch smart TV up on the veranda.

The house is open plan, so it catches the beautiful ocean breezes in summer.
We also have a large wood fired heater in the kitchen to keep everyone warm in winter.
The Happy House has a very large fully covered front deck / outdoor living area; with Cafe blinds to protect guests from the weather, or can be rolled up to enjoy the cooling sea breezes in summer.

The kitchen and wood heater is fully enclosed in a walk through, gated safety barrier.
There is also a baby gate that can be moved to where ever needed in the house.
There is a high chair, and even a shower bath tub in the downstairs bathroom.
👉🏽The downstairs shower and bath taps are temperature limited to prevent children getting scalded.
The large verandah has a pool style, veranda railing and a safety gate at the top of the steps too.

We also have an 65inch smart TV with satelite TV, and if you are tech savvy, you can hook it up to your own phone for playing your own music, video and Netflix etc

Out on the front lawn, we have an Igloo shaped, wood fired pizza oven, with a large prep table beside it.
So bring your favourite pizza recipes 🍕 and a bag of milled wood and a bag of kindling.
We have a fire pit 🔥 for you to relax around with a few drinks.
We also have a toddler play fort.
We have a hose that can be used to wash down cars and fishing gear etc
Out the front gate, under the 🌴palm trees, we have a 🐟fish cleaning station with a hose, light and large filleting table.
🐕The house is fully fenced in safety pool style fencing. Front gates can be left closed or open, whatever guests prefer
🐕The whole of Happy Valley township is also enclosed by a large dingo proof fence and grid, so children are safe from dingos if they play outside in the common area, or walk to the shop

There is room for parking 4 vehicles only, 3 inside the fence line, and 1 outside the fence.
Off peak Min stay is 3 nights.
School holidays, Min stay is 6 days Mon to Saturday
The Happy House is located at Happy Valley on the Eastern, surf side beach on K'gari, and to get there a 4wd vehicle is ESSENTIAL.
Happy Valley is almost mid way along the beautiful 75 mile ocean surf beach and we think K’gari has the best beaches in Qld.
K'gari - is a World Heritage listed National Park and the most beautiful location.
The Happy House is situated near the front of Happy Valley, it is only a 70m stroll down the boardwalk to the 75 mile ocean surf beach.
Its only a 150m stroll on the boardwalk in the opposite direction, back to the local corner shop. The shop sells ice, groceries, takeaway, bait and fuel, souvenirs and barista coffee.
There is also bar / restaurant and an ATM, an Australia Post box and even a public pay phone.
From the house, it is only a 10 min drive North along the beach to lovely Eli Creek and 15 minutes to the famous Maheno ship wreck.

There are no cleaners in Happy Valley
So please clean when you leave
✔sweep and mop floors
✔Wipe out the fridge
✔wipe down the shower, bath and toilets with the bathroom cleaner that we supply (gloves under the sink)
♦️We do NOT expect you to do a bond clean.
Just leave it as clean as you found it, and wipe kid hand prints off the walls etc. ♦️
🌴We do have onsite managers that live in a seperage cottage.
They are mad keen fishermen and slso give great tips on places to visit that are not the usual tourist spots🌴

❤️ K'gari is a World Heritage listed National Park so no pets are allowed.
👉🏽You must BYO firewood for the fire, pizza oven and wood heater; as you cannot collect any wood in a National Park, or off the beach.
