A short 25 minute drive to Shreveport’s downtown with many riverboat casinos and attractions like the Shreveport aquarium and Sci-port Discovery Center, along with many local bars and restaurants. This property is also approximately 22 minutes from the beautiful Caddo lake state park, which is home to one of only a handful of natural lakes in Texas. Here you can fish on the 26,810-acre Caddo Lake, which harbors more than 70 species of fish! They have a fishing pier and a boat ramp. You do not need a fishing license to fish from shore in a state park. You can kayak/canoe (rental or your own) on over 50 miles of paddling trails, or hike and picnic as you take in the beautiful scenery of the bald cypress trees draped with spanish moss as they tower over the maze of bayous.
