But when you arrive here, you’ll discover so much more to add to your travel itinerary. We have our own little hiking trail on our 4 acre property that leads down to a stream and the Toccoa River.
Pop into the town of Blue Ridge itself and take a stroll to peruse the local shops and art galleries. Make a visit to Bear Claw Vineyards, where you can sip a red or white while gazing out at the mountain peaks.
You can even take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, which winds through the lush greenery of the Chattahoochee National Forest along the banks of the Toccoa River. Go apple picking at Mercier Orchards (less than 10 minutes down the road!) and don’t miss the chance to taste their delicious fried hand pies.
If it’s hiking you’re after, the Aska Adventure Area is located just south of the town. It has several gorgeous trails, including the 2.8 mile Green Mountain Loop and the 6 mile Flat Creek Loop.
