Named after the God of Fire, the Aeolian Island of Vulcano is located off the coast of Sicily. The island is home to one of the most active volcanoes in Europe and is known for its dramatic landscapes, therapeutic mud baths and beautiful beaches.
For a natural spa day, guests can visit the Pozza dei Fanghi, mud baths (a 4-minute drive), followed by a trip to Spiaggia delle Acque Calde (a 3-minute drive), a natural jacuzzi where submarine volcanic fumaroles eject hot steam.
The waters around Vulcano offer incredible diving and snorkelling experiences, featuring lava formations, volcanic caves and an abundance of marine life.
