While our island may look different as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds from Hurricane Ian, bigger and better than ever, we can assure you that the Beach is as spectacular as ever and all of our homes have been approved and inspected to meet your family's needs. We are Fort Myers Beach Strong and will be better than ever!
Gorgeous Mediterranean- Style Luxury 2 Bedroom w/Den Bella Lago 442 Condo with a View of Palm Trees and Paradise! Enjoy a perfect vacation in a tropical setting at the quiet, upscale end of the island in this spacious, air-conditioned, open concept unit that has been professionally decorated throughout. Bird watch during the day from your screened in lanai as egrets and big blue herons visit the Bella Lago Spring Pond, or enjoy a relaxing meal out on the lanai at night when the Pond's fountain lights up. Cross the street to the beach using your private beach access to enjoy the sun, sand and surf or stay put at Bella Lago and take pleasure in all the many other resort amenities offered to guests.
The lovely Bella Lago 442 has been professionally outfitted for a perfect vacation experience. As soon as you enter the condo you will see the beautiful details, including lighted tray ceilings in foyer and kitchen. Ceiling fans with tropical flair in the bedrooms, living room and lanai allow for the sea breezes to cool the rooms if you want to turn off the air-conditioning and open the lanai doors. The large kitchen has custom cabinets with corian countertops and is fully equipped with all the appliances (including a dishwasher) and cookware you will need to prepare breakfast, lunch or a complete gourmet meal. And there's a breakfast bar to catch a quick snack while you make your plans for the beach! Planning a dinner party? The stylish dining table can comfortably accommodate 4 people for dinner. As a nice surprise, you will find a small den adjoining the kitchen has a sleeper sofa.
Living room is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Plenty of comfy seating for everyone to relax in while watching the game on the huge flat screen TV. Working on vacation? No problem...there is a laptop friendly desk in the Master Bedroom. And best of all, is the lovely screened in lanai that overlooks the lake. Enjoy the gorgeous tropical setting with palm trees swaying in the breeze. Enjoy watching the osprey, egrets, blue herons and pelicans that frequent the lake with a fountain that lights up in the evening. Relax sitting out with the newest best-seller and a glass of your favorite wine.
The large Master Bedroom Suite has a King Sized Bed with a comfortable mattress and fine linens and there's a large walk in Master Closet. There's also a flat screen TV for you to enjoy a late night show. And how lovely is this - you can walk right out to the lanai from the Master Bedroom! The Master Bath features double vanities and a over-sized, walk-in shower. On the other side of the condo is the Guest Bedroom which features a Queen Sized Bed and a TV as well and is decorated in a tropical theme with plantation shutters. The full Guest Bath is right next door.
There is a laundry room in the condo with a large capacity washer and dryer. You can pack light and no going home with dirty clothes! There is free WiFi throughout the unit for working remotely. Beach chairs and other beach items for your use can be found in the ground floor private Storage Closet. A secured lobby, building elevator, and ample parking for your convenience. If a bike is rented, it should be stored in the bike rack, located in each building's garage. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.
Bella Lago guests are treated to wonderful Resort Amenities: Resort Sized Heated Pool, Fitness Center, BBQ area, Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts, Bocce Courts, Walking Paths, and Chipping and Pitching Greens. Best of all, Bella Lago Guests have a private Beach Access directly across the street. Just steps away, there is a crosswalk with flashing lights in front of the Bella Lago complex that leads directly to our beautiful beaches.
The amenities are balanced with the natural beauty of sand and surf on the Gulf. You are just steps from the tranquility of the preserve, a stopping point for the migration of the rare white pelicans and roseate spoonbills. This vacation home's ideal location offers easy southbound access to the mainland. The quiet, south end of the island is the perfect place to enjoy the true island lifestyle.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Scheduled to re-open in 2025, Santini Marina Plaza, just across the street, will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.
