Monkey Hill is a luxury 8 bedroom celebration villa in the parish of St James on the exclusive west coast of Barbados. It is surrounded by two acres of tropical gardens and breath-taking ocean views and is situated in the exclusive Sugar Hill Community.
The indoor and outdoor facilities are ideal for all kinds of family and celebratory occasions. Whether organising a special family vacation/reunion, or celebrating a milestone like a wedding, birthday or anniversary, Monkey Hill in Barbados offers the ideal space to create cherished memories and luxury travel experiences.
Monkey Hill’s exquisite entertaining features include an outdoor dining area, comfortable couches, bar and BBQ overlooking the large infinity edge swimming pool with several loungers and umbrellas on the deck for your enjoyment.
Monkey Hill is around 8000 square feet and offers guests a unique blend of entertainment and leisure amenities. The main house contains six spacious bedrooms, with three queen and three king sized beds, all with en-suites.
The two-bedroom self-contained cottage is fitted with two double beds with ensuites. An outdoor seating for four enjoys views of the sea and gardens.
Monkey Hill is the perfect location for family holidays, celebrations, entertaining, idyllic romantic breaks and golfing trips. Its prestigious quarters provide everything you need for flawless events and celebrations with personnel, butlers, chefs and housekeeping services available upon request.
As a certified quarantine villa there are EXTERNAL security monitoring camera's on the grounds running 24/7 during the quarantine period.
Rates shown are for the 6 bedroom villa and there is also the option to rent the cottage which has 2 further bedrooms. Each room can accommodate two persons.

We will be on hand to provide any assistance during your stay. The rental price comes standard with a house keeper. An extra laundress will be provided depending on the level of occupancy. Additional concierge services, cook, butler can also be provided on request for an additional cost. We can include help with car rental, restaurant bookings and activities.
The experienced and friendly staff are there to ensure a seamless holiday, be it to shop for groceries, prepare a delicious meal (if a cook is requested), or simply greet you with a smile. Staff members generally work 6 days per week from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (not Sundays) and include:
Housekeeper/Laundress - our wonderful team make sure that the property is deep cleaned in between bookings.
(On request) The Cook prepares 2 meals daily that can be alternated between breakfast, lunch and dinner and is experienced in International, British and Bajan cuisine. The cost of the food is not included.

Holetown is less than 5 minutes away by car. From there you can pick up many buses that will take you around the island. We would recommend that a car is rented throughout your stay and help with rentals can be provided upon request. Failing that there are many good local taxi firms.
The neighbourhood
Mullins Beach – this easily accessible, 300-yard-long tranche of soft golden sand is, with good reason, one of the most popular beaches on the west coast.
Gibbes Beach – Gibbes’ 300-yard arc of pristine golden sand, backed by soaring trees, is a strong contender for the west coast’s most beautiful beach. It’s entirely uncommercialised. All you’ll find here are some of the most desirable villas on the island.
Paynes Bay – a strong contender for the best beach on the west coast. Selling points are its fine white sand, the safe swimming and the beach’s length: it’s a 20 minute stroll from end to end, and the northern half, away from the hotels, is usually uncrowded. The icing on the cake is that out in the bay there are turtles to swim with.
On the other side of the island you can also visit Crane Beach – Enterprise Beach – Accra Beach – which are all stunning beaches in Barbados.
There are many wonderful restaurants and cuisine choices in Barbados to choose from. Please refer to the literature that can be found in the villa for a variety of excellent restaurant selections whether it may be for an entertaining evening with friends, for the whole family, or for that special romantic evening. Please note to book these in advance particularly in peak seasons.

Other activities include water-skiing, kayaking, jet-skiing and banana boat rides. Guests can also take catamaran trips that allow the immense beauty of the island to be seen from the water. The catamaran trips also provide the unforgettable experience to swim with turtles. There are many Catamarans to choose from but our favourites are: Good times 40′ Catamaran – 16 people snorkelling with turtles, swimming and includes lunch on board and Silver Moon – lunch time and evening time cruises available.
