The house is in fact particularly suitable for foreigners who move to Italy for a few months as it is very comfortable, immediately ready to be inhabited and complete with everything that can be useful even for those who live there for a long time.
The apartment (165 m2) is located on the ground floor of an elegant period villa with park; it is totally renovated, very bright, cool during the summer and surrounded by a magnificent garden where you can barbecue, sunbathe or relax in the shade of the lime trees.
The “veranda” is a very large and bright room which is located in the center of the apartment and which is used as a living room and dining room; from this room you access the living room, the very spacious kitchen and the sleeping area. Here there are three bedrooms, one double with private bathroom and fireplace, one double with large wardrobe, another smaller one which can also be used as a study or entrance and finally the second very large bathroom with bathtub.
The parquet floors, the high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, the large windows overlooking the garden make the house very welcoming.
The villa is located in a very quiet area, near the ancient village, outside the town center (which can still be reached on foot).
The location is excellent as it is close to Como and Lecco, to Golf Clubs (Villa d'Este, Lecco, Carimate, Monticello and Barlassina), to beautiful lakes, to many sports centers (tennis, swimming pools and riding stables) and to paths for splendid field trips.
On foot in a few minutes you can reach the bus stop that takes you to Como, Lecco and Erba from where you can reach Milan by train. Always on foot and in a few minutes you arrive at the ancient village of Erba where with a characteristic path of "stairs" you arrive at a Japanese restaurant, a pharmacy, a bar and further on in the center of Erba.
