THE SPACE
This spacious and sunny apartment has been designed to be functional for couples, friends, families and hosts up to 3 guests. It is located on the 3rd floor of a residential building, measures 52 sqm and is fully equipped and furnished, including amenities for a relaxing & comfortable stay.
The apartment has air conditioning in both rooms and heating 24/7. It has a security door and double glazed windows.

We provide high quality linen that include clean and fresh 100% cotton sheets, mattress and pillow covers, clean and fluffy cotton towels as well as toiletries that include body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
You will find coffee, milk caps, sugar and condiments for your use in the kitchen as well as cooking and dining items.

SHOPPING & FOOD
Bakery and coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores and commercial shops are only minutes away (by foot).
Every Friday, you can visit a big local market a few blocks away, where you can find local products and buy fresh fruit, vegetables, fresh eggs and much more from local producers.
You can also order food and coffee from the several shops located nearby. A list is provided with the best local shops in the area for pizza, Greek food – including souvlaki, etc.
THE AREA
Xilokastro is a coastal area with beautiful beaches (2019 blue flag!), the pine forest of Pefkia that stretches 2 km along the coastline of the Corinthian Gulf, a picturesque marina and much more. It generously offers unique scenery throughout the town blending in the deep blue sea and surrounding mountains.
The apartment is located near the center of Xilokasto, 3 min from the sea and 5 min from the central square of Agiou Vlasiou. The neighbourhood is friendly and very tranquil, especially during quiet hours and in the evening.
You can walk to the local bakery for warm fresh made bread and breakfast items. There is an excellent restaurant located two blocks away with homemade recipes for lunch (they also have home delivery).
The pine forest of Pefkia is a 10 min walk. This is a unique forest with pine trees and rare plants and stretches 2 km down the coast. You can walk or jog along the beach or inside the forest, under the shade of pine trees.
In the evening you can take a stroll at the pedestrian area stretching along the coast and have dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants and/or have a drink at one of the bars. You are only minutes away from the heart of the town!
We provide the summer program with scheduled cultural events in town. Choose to go to a theatrical play or concert visiting the town during your stay.
For sports lovers, Xilokastro has sport facilities, including beach volley, basketball and tennis courts.
GETTING AROUND
Xilokastro is located 120 km from Athens and 100 km from Patras.
You can reach Xilokastro from Athens by:
Car - just 75 min drive.
Proastiakos train - take the train to Kiato station and from there take a taxi to reach Xilokastro (15 min drive).
Bus - take direct bus to Xilokastro from KTEL Kifisou (2 hour drive). The apartment is only 5 min walking distance from the Xilokastro bus station.
Everything in town is in walking distance but if you like bicycling, bring them along and enjoy rides on bicycle paths around the town!
The most famous sites, such as Ancient Korinthos and Mycenae are about 1 hour by car. You can also reach the lofty mountain of Trikala in just 20 minutes. There are several half day excursions you can plan to visit nearby traditional villages, ski resort and lakes.
