The apartment is located in a residential area in the immediate vicinity of Victoria Bridge, near to the center but in a side street, so away from the from the busy, city-noise.
It is also easily accessible by car, we are out of the area off-limits to cars. The apartment is on the ground floor of a ancient building 1800, recently renovated inside while maintaining details of the age on a street named, Via Baccio Bandinelli.
The apartment is ideal for 2 people, for a short-stay in Florence. It is luminous and quiet and has the original, typical-Florentine wooden ceiling and brick arches.
Being on the ground floor, you will usefully not have to carry your suitcases up numerous flights steps as in many other apartments in the center of Florence!
There is paying parking in our or the adjacent streets, there are some free places, but few, others for a fee, the tariffs are from Monday to Saturday between 08:00-20:00 at a cost of 1,00€ per hour with a maximum tariff of 12€ per day.
The largest park in Florence, Cascine Park, is some 2 minutes walk away and reached by simply crossing the River Arno.
Anyone who loves sports can take long walks, go jogging or rent a bike. Additionally, on Tuesday mornings there is a produce market.
Turist tax is not included in the price and it costs 3,00 euro per person per night. I'm sorry but I'm an honest man and the italian law say to do so, if you do not find this request in other ads, beware are defrauding the taxes, you might have problems.
Guest Access
You can enjoy jogging in the beautiful Cascine Park (the largest in Florence), only 5 minutes away and there, you can also find a swimming pool, tennis courts, squash courts and archery. The Cascine is actually a university botanical park and is just the right place to learn a bit more about plants, trees and birds.
Here who loves sports, can take long walks, go jogging, rent a bike and on Tuesday mornings there is the famous market.
It is well served with public transportation, that go directly to Florence Historic Center. The Metro Station is nex the door, and it goes directly to the Santa Maria Novella train station in 6 minutes.
Or if you choose to walk, it is only 15 to 20 minutes nice and easy walk along the Arno River with a stunning view of Florence.
Interaction with Guests
I shall provide advice and suggestions to enjoy the best Florence. Inside the house you will find a small manual with the directions of the shops also close and we prepared bus map, tourist information, calendar florence events, and useful information, and other small details.

The Neighborhood

In Isolotto district you will also find a daily market of fruits, vegetables and typical products. Every Tuesdays there is the Cascine market, with many stands that sell regional culinary products, clothing, gifts and antiques.
Getting Around
As we are on the left-bank of the River Arno, there are far fewer tourists and many more Florentines, so if you want to really discover the true Florence, come and stay in my flat!
In the morning you can make a great breakfast in the bakery bar around the corner from the house, you see a newspaper and get on the tram to get into the center, all within 50 meters from the house, a real convenience!
If you are celiac can recommend local shops and restaurants gluten free because we too have a person celiac family.
Other Things to Note
Close to the apartment there is a bar, a newspaper stand, a take-away pizza place, Pub, Chinese restaurant, and other restaurants, a rotisserie and a useful grocery store, self-service laundry, and two supermarket, car rental Hertz..
The arrival time must be agreed in advance, in the time slot from 13:00 to 19:00. Arrivals after 19:00 are possible with agreements, ask before booking if possible arrive after 19:00.
We are not resident in the building, without an appointment agreed we will not find.
